L'Empire Hotel

Our hotel is fantastique! I was so worried about the notoriously rude Parisians, but the hotel staff has been nothing but kind. The two best perks of this hotel: the towel warmer and the super fresh orange juice.

We don't have to go anywhere.  We have the Eiffel Tower and some other Paris fountain/landmark thing in our room!

I love having croissants every morning!

Training started yesterday (Tues) and is going well!  I think we need to hang out with our French colleagues more; they are a fun group, and they translate for me when we go out.  We went to a pastry shop after lunch yesterday, and I had the world's greatest cream puff! The French really understand life's simple pleasures.  I am loving the Paris life!
