MAREN'S REVIEW
Today, we are French food critics! Frankly, there is nothing to criticize; the food is wonderful. We went to the highly acclaimed Louise Cafe tonight, where we were greeted by Louise herself. Let me just skip ahead to the best part...coq au vin. The chicken fell of the bones. The sauce was so rich and savory, it required sliced baguettes to get every last drop.
For dessert, I had a semi-cooked chocolate cake. No one understands chocolate like the French. This place gets 5 out of 5 croissants (my current rating system).
ISAAC'S REVIEW
I had a sandwich. It was a club. It consisted of toasted bread, chicken, and other stuff. It was good. The bread was good. The chicken was good. The other stuff was good. Then I had some dessert. It was a fine dessert. It was good. The table was round, stable, and well-made despite being obviously used for years. The rough face of the top told the tale of thousands of meals, wine glasses, and was rich with character that was becoming of a table.
My date was great.
Looks yummy.
